While I was drawing the artwork I was occasionally noticing that some of what I was drawing wasn’t going as I had planned or didn’t look as good as I had hoped. To overcome this at times I had to start a specific section again and would redraw it making sure that I changed the part that was wrong and that I would make it look more as it was supposed to be whether that would mean making it shorter, longer, thinner or wider. Specific problems that I faced were things like how when making my character I struggled making the right arm match the left. As you can see I misjudged the size I was drawing the character with no feet as I wouldn’t have been able to fit them on at the scale I have drawn him.
I struggled making the sloth look the right proportion at certain points as it looks a little thin in the body on the final result but during prior attempts. I found that the right hand side of the image was challenging to draw as there is little to compare the size with for scale. I also had a similar problem with drawing the sparrow as I left too little amount of room for the head causing me to squash it up a little although I managed to make it look life like and not too abnormal.
When I was drawing the armour, weapons, chariot and horse I had very little problems most only being making the sword blade being too broad or long which was easy to correct. Apart from all of those points I’ve made I feel like most of what I have drawn was how I imagined it or a little better. Although some of the weapons aren’t from the correct time period they are as close as I could make them to suiting it.

I have been producing concept art for a game I have decided to make based on the film sparticus. I have developed the ideas I produced before so they now have more detail and include damage and wear on weapons and armour that affect the statistics, value and visual effect that they'll have. Damaged and worn items will require the player to visit a blacksmith or another suitable vender/ merchant. Certain merchants are better at fixing certain types of wear and damage. There are multiple ways a weapon or armour piece can be affected: rust, scratches, gorged, parry damage, broken tip, blunted edges and multiple others including one where a weapon could be completely broken in to multiple pieces meaning the player would have to take it to a blacksmith to repair it. The likelyhood of finding things with each additional damage statistic is equal so no specific one will occur more frequently (including finding an undamaged one).
I have now decided that I want to incorporate some mythical aspects to the game like some animals and items such as specific highly powerful armour or weapon. I also want to include an artifact that is implanted into the characters hand that is used to allow the player to access the inventory of their character aswell as a tool that allows you to communicate with the gods by looking towards the sky or at a reflection (depending on the time of day) allowing you to add perks to certain areas of expertise as you progressively increase experience in that skill. You can also look at a map of the land you are in and the amount of it you have conquered/ claimed allowing you to plan your attacks and further battle strategies indepth prior to acting. During some of the drawings I found that I had a couple of problems detailing parts to the extent that I wanted to and had to find alternative ways to complete the task.
